had a nice quite weekend with Bill...

I finally feel ready to start running again...I am getting the itch to train for another race...maybe the Mardi Gras half-marathon?? I bought a new pair of running shoes as my latest pair was hurting.  Turns out my feet have grown another 1/2 size!  I have gone from a 9.5 to a 10!  Granted I am 5'6"so people don't really notice my big feet.  But it makes finding shoes rather difficult.  Oh, well, just one more thing to make me unique :)

Cameron is doing great, only two more weeks of camp with us and then he's going to his grandmother's house (Ned's mom) for a week.

I have already bought our Harry Potter tickets, we are very excited about the new movie!  I am sure a lot has been cut out of the book, but it has been 4 years since I read it, so I probably won't notice. 


I got my hair cut chin length yesterday due to the insane heat and humidity here.  Living in 100+ degree heat with insane humidity is tough...I miss Barton Springs Pool.  We had pretty much spent the past three summers going there in the afternoons after work.  New Orleans just does not have anything like that.

Bree is coming to visit us Friday night with her dog, Manny. I am looking forward to seeing Bree and finally meeting Manny.  I am not sure she realizes how much I love dogs.  Well, all animals actually. I was the kid who would have stayed at the riding stables all day not just riding horses but playing with the dogs and cats (had my parents let me, mind you).
